Submitting Manuscripts

For each batch please submit an invoice which should include the following:

• Name
• Address
• Social security number or taxpayer identification number
• Project name: How Products Are Made, Vol. #
• Titles of essay(s)
• Number of essays
• Date
• Amount due (for each essay as well as for the total invoice)

Also include:

• Electronic copy, in tagged format, and saved as ASCII [DOS] or TEXTONLY [Mac] text that may be submitted via e-mail or on 3.5" floppy high-density Mac formatted disks.
• Label disks with your name, file names, word count, and version and type of software (WP 6.0).
• Copies of source material. We cannot accept articles submitted without documentation.
• Hard copy of your article.

Macintosh Users

• In the IBM environment, unformatted textfiles are saved as ASCII files. This results in a plain vanilla file devoid of any formatting.
• In the Mac environment, you should save files as either MSDOSTEXT or TEXTONLY. If there is a problem reading files on our end, we will contact you immediately.
